four

I need to start this earlier in the night so that I can actually write more than a few sentences! I seem to always get on right as I'm heading to bed. Anyway, things have been going great. Only thing is, I think I have been getting a little too into this whole getting pregnant thing. We aren't supposed to be trying we're "not- not trying" so I think I might be stressing my husband out a bit. So I'm going to try to back off a little bit. I don't want to take the fun out of it by only having sex when I think is the best time, etc.

My husband and I went out to dinner tonight. It was nice to get out of the house, and have a little date. It seems like we haven't really done that in a while, -which I'm sure isn't the case- but you know how it feels some of the time. I guess I shouldn't really start complaining about not going on dates often just yet. ;)

three

Family just left. This Christmas was a pretty good one. Last night, we went to my grandmas for dinner and some presents. It was a lot of fun. My sister got our nephews some fake poop (that's really what they asked for) so that was pretty funny. Then today, my husbands family came over for lunch. It was also a great time.. only with a little drama. haha. The hubby fed the dogs some leftover ham.... so a little worried about them getting the runs. ewwww.

I am officially off BCP and I am officially on prenatal vitamins. I don't really care to tell everyone (family included) just because I don't care for all the questions, even about normal life. People really don't need to know any way. It's only our business, in my opinion.

The prenatal vitamins are huge horse pills!

Anyway, I'm slightly tipsy some all the mimosas and wine I've been drinking so I think I'll go upstairs and see what my husband is up to, and possibly do some gaming with him :P I know, how nerdy!

Happy Holidays All!!!

Ok it's the night before Christmas Eve. I'm deeeeaaaad tired; this will be quick.

My husband and I went to Walmart tonight to grab a couple of random things.
Bought some prenatal vitamins. He doesn't really get it. Kept asking why I can't just get the regular multivitamin. (it was cheaper) haha. I will start taking them tonight.

Gotta work at 6:30 tomorrow morning so I am off to bed for now!

one

My husband and I have agreed to stop trying to avoid pregnancy. We are not going to actively try to get pregnant, but we're "not not trying", if you will. I am writing this blog to keep track of things.

I am taking the last week of BC pills- I take Seasonique; the "period pills" actually serve a purpose, and are not just sugar pills. So the yellow (or period pills) are the ones I mean when I say the last week. I don't really know why I am bothering with taking them, other than to make my husband happy. He doesn't really understand how any of this works. I'm quite certain I would have my period right now whether I took these yellow pills or not. But he thinks I will mess some thing up if I don't do as the instructions tell me :). Oh well, my BC pill has always made my period light and short, so maybe taking the pills will keep it that way! this cycle anyway. haha

We had originally planned on finishing the whole pack of BC (Seasonique is the one with 3 mo. worth of BC, and one period week) I had about a month left of the regular BC pills. I kept forgetting to take them, and in turn was feeling sick all of the time. My stomach hurt, nausea, headaches, cramps, etc. I am pretty sure that if I had just quit forgetting and took my pills as I should, that I wouldn't have been feeling crappy.. But since, even with two alarms and reminders, I kept forgetting, I asked my husband what he would think if I just stopped taking them a month earlier than we had planned. I assumed we would just use condoms for a month and then we could start trying to conceive as we had planned. But to my surprise, my husband said what the hell, whats a month anyway.

So, basically I am on here keeping track of our journey of trying to start a family. Even though we are not actively TRYING, I am still super excited at the thought of having a baby.
